KNOLL SAYS
Seurat, named for master French pointillist Georges-Pierre. Thick and thin novelty yarns mingle in the warp, resulting in a tri-colored textural ground consisting primarily of cotton and wool, a pairing that enhances tonal saturation.
MODERN FABRIC SAYS
Soft an nubby. Mix of warm black and gray. I LOVE Georges Pierre Seurat, that painting was hanging at the Chicago Art Institute while I grew up there and I loved just sitting in front of it and getting lost, dreaming of becoming an artist. I LOVE Chicago.
It's a bit of a streatch to compare this fabric to this amazing painting especially in the gray colorway, but whatever sells.
