MODERN FABRICS SAYS
This is the new Maharam design that has replaced Kvadrat Hallingdal. I think it's a great substitute, more affordable, and a little softer. It is a bit thinner then Hallingdal, and the weave is less pronounced, as in the two weave colors blend together vs being crisp. Astute is a blue with a hint of violet undertone.
