MODERN FABRICS SAYS
This is the new Maharam design that has replaced Kvadrat Hallingdal. I think it's a great substitute, more affordable, and a little softer. It is a bit thinner than Hallingdal, and the weave is less pronounced, as in the two weave colors blend together vs. being crisp. The buckram colorway is mix of pure white and very light gray.
